Who We Are

Friends of Turnberry Park is a volunteer-led community group dedicated to improving and preserving Turnberry Park. Since 2013, we have worked to create a welcoming, safe, and accessible green space for everyone to enjoy.

Our Mission

We believe that local parks play a vital role in bringing communities together, promoting well-being, and providing a space for nature to thrive. Our goal is to maintain and enhance Turnberry Park by adding new features, organising community events, and working with local organisations to improve safety and accessibility.

 

What We’ve Achieved

Over the years, we’ve made significant improvements to the park, including:

• New pathways – making the park more accessible to all.

• Memorial benches – dedicated to local figures who contributed to our community.

• Regular clean-ups – ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.

• Community projects – including plans for a mural to enhance security in the park.
